A healthy diet is one that gives your organs and tissues the nutrients it needs to function correctly. It is one of the important parts of the CrossFit lifestyle, because your body needs proper nutrition to work effectively. However, 90% of people do not know what to eat after working out.
What nutrition we need for the CrossFit lifestyle?
As is known to all, proteins are necessary for our bodies to recover to normal condition and build muscles, but you need more proteins if you are taking the CrossFit lifestyle. You will need protein, carbohydrate, and fat.
What should we eat for the CrossFit lifestyle?
In general, we need to eat:
- meat and vegetables
- nuts and seeds
- some fruits
- little starch
- NO sugar

What is a Block and Block Chart?
- A “Block”
A block is a unit of measure used to simplify the process of making balanced meals.
7 grams of protein = 1block of protein
9 grams of carbohydrate = 1 block of carbohydrate
1.5 grams of fat = 1 block of fat
(There is an assumption that there is about 1.5 grams of fat in each block of protein, so the total amount of fat needed per 1 block meal is 3 grams.)
